The place where the combustible gas alarm
is suitable for installation: The gas alarm
is suitable for installation within a radius of 1.5 meters from the gas source, in a well-ventilated place:
(1) Liquefied petroleum gas-heavier than air and deposited in a low place, the wireless gas detector should be installed in the lower part of the gas source. The horizontal distance between the installation of the wireless gas detector and the burning appliance or valve shall not be greater than 3m, and the installation height shall be within 0.3m from the ground.
(2) Gas, natural gas-lighter than air, floating in a high place, the wireless gas detector should be installed on the upper part of the gas source. The horizontal distance between the wireless gas detector and the burning appliance or valve shall not be greater than 6m, and the installation height shall be within 0.3m from the ceiling, and it shall not be installed above the burning appliance.
Locations where the alarm cannot be installed: corners, cabinets, and other locations where air is not easy to circulate, and locations that are easy to be directly smoked by oil smoke.
The gas detected by the combustible gas alarm is different and the installation location should be different. It should be installed according to the nature of the gas. The lighter gas should be installed 30-60cm away from the roof, and the gas heavier than air should be installed 30-60cm on the ground. . Fixed gas alarms are often used in industrial environments, which can effectively ensure the safety of personnel in production. The fixed gas alarm
can be detected online in real time, and the alarm record will not be lost when the power is off. Gas alarms should be installed for real-time detection in places with a large number of people and difficult to evacuate. Some restaurants, hotels, chemical workshops, and other places are more suitable for installing fixed gas alarms.
